Whitch 42" deck are you asking about?
I bought a 42" GHS deck this spring for my Walker and have had no problems.

The 42 I believe has the smaller impeller/fan blade but can be up graded to the larger. There's a few other things but they're minimal. It sounds like you got a great deal. Post up some pics.

Having it sit is like money in the bank, a good deal , no interest.

i think you are refering to the size of the blower on the mower. I believe all walkers 07 and newer have the ten inch blower(atleast MT models). Which has nothing to do with the deck size.

What problems? I had two, 1998 Walkers. Each had a 42" GHS deck, and a 42" mulch deck. Put nearly 2000 hours on each machine and never had any probles with the machines, or the decks. Had the standard impeller on each machine and the optional big grass hoppers. There are no problems with those decks that I know of.

i understand that but what i meant is while i am in the winter i would rather keep the money in the bank for plow reapirs and such considering i am plowing.
