what type of blades do you guys use for your walker mowers? I use walker ones as of now. Just wondering if there are any after market brands that are better.

I just run the Walker blades right now but have heard the gators do a good job. I also would love some info on the gators if anyone runs them.

I tried Oregon gators on my 42" GHS, but the tips rub, you can use gators on the SD decks only, the GHS decks have limited selection either Oregon OEM replacment, the Oregons are thicker .260" and rockwell c scale-hardned 50. Or the Walker brand OEM's .160". I found the Walker"s are amazing the OEM blades do a excellent job.

Stay with the Walker blades, aftermarket blades don't last very long. IMO
