wanted to let other walker owner's know that I tried the mulch plate on my 48 ghs deck today and was super impressed! Only clumped up on one small lawn today that was really thick and had to mow it twice. Very cheap mulching option.:usflag:

Good to hear! I saw those the other day when I was on Ebay. I know that guy was selling them for the 42" decks for a year or two now, just recently came out with the 48" version.

I run eXmarks with the ez chute, is this the same concept?

Uh, no. The Walker is a front mount, the grass goes out the center rear of the deck into a chute to the blower where it's sent into the hopper... This blockoff plate just basically stops the grass from getting into the chute from under the deck, but it's form fitted to the deck and has a couple baffles on it.
