Walker GHS 48" Acres per hour?

    I am not sure about the 48", but the 52" does approx 1.2 acres and hour. I email Walker about this question a few weeks ago. You can do the same with the 48". This is an average since they are factors involved.

    just figure it this way

    walker travels top speed without speed up kit at a pace of 5mph
    48 " deck at 5mph=2.42 acres per hour at 100 % efficiency

    48 " deck at 5 mph = 1.94 acres per hour at 80% efficiency

    I have worked a few guys around here that run faster mid-mounts, and I have not seen anyone able to cut this turf at speeds excess of 6.5 mph and get a cut that would be acceptable to this customer. The house behind this one is a $12,000,000 home. These customers seem to be willing to pay for results. We will soon find out.

    lets see the house and the lawn
    an exmark would be my choice for large props over 30,000 sq ft

    If you gotta stick with the walker maybe you should by 2 of'em LOL:D
