walker -kohler 26 EFI 2200 HRS

    I Have A Walker Mower With A Kohler 26 Efi With 2200 Hrs On It , It Run Just Ok ,starting To Use Oil , Is 2200 Hrs Good ? Or Should I Should It Run 3000 +

    I take it this is the original motor on the machine? If so that is pretty good

    are you asking if you should stop using it because it has 2200 hours?

    Just Thinking Time For New Motor , 6 Years 2200 Hrs ,i Change Oil And Filter Every 100 Hrs

    Oil consumption at 2200 hrs is normal, you should pull 500+ more hours out of it without fuss. Personally I'd run the thing until it brakes.

    Thinking new engine or short-block?

    Run it till it breaks. In the mean time start looking for a deal on a replacement. You will probably be better off looking for a carbed 23 to put in its place.

    Don't be surprised if the engine goes to >4000 hours. The mower will be very well used when the EFI Kohler reaches the practical end of it's service life.

    OK , i will run it , i have found a long block with intake , $1399 kohler
