I need to increase the speed of my 26 hp walker, but am wondering how much control you lose after the installation of the kit.
I still have many confined space properties. Is the trade off worth it???

Listen the mower will only go as fast as you want it to. That is what those two things between your legs are for!:D :D :D

We have speed up kits on 3 of our Walkers, works great and cheap$$$$ carry a spare belt with you, thats the down fall if you climb alot of steep hills like we do they burn our faster!

It also burns out your hydro pumps faster.

I have a 26 hp walker also, and,so far,I have never used top speed cutting grass. How fast do you guys want to go. If you go to fast with a walker, the grass will lay down. An exmark will do a much better job of actually cutting the grass while going fast.

I have over 4000 hours on two of my Walkers with the smaller pulley. Both had their Kohlers replaced; same hydros.
