A question for Walker GHS users, is it just me of does the side vents on the deck clog up too often? I have tried slower and faster but they seem to clog each lawn halfway through no matter what, Its a machine with only 100 hours on it, and yes I cleaned the chutes and screen. No matter what it clogs, so much I put a plastic poker to unclog it from sitting on the machine. Any tips or tricks?

Try lubing the whole GHS system . Deck discharge chute between deck and blower, blower, dischare chute between blower and GHS Box. Good luck Sharp and blanced blades that are oiled as well. Seem to help. Wet days I might change my blades ever few hours.

The vents are usless. Mine are clogged more often than open. Plus, when doing dry leaves, you get blow out that leaves a trail. I have one deck that I cut the hood extension off and welded a plat over the opening. Still works good.
