I just bought a tru cut 20" reel mower (p-20) to mow an empire zoysia lawn in central Florida. I have been reading quite bit here and elsewhere and I think I made a big mistake. It's not easy to use and the cut was horrible. It seems like the mower could also be difficult to maintain! I have heard great things about the walker brand and would love an opinion on using their 36" on this turf. Remember, we are in central Florida and the turf will get thick, high & grow all year.... Thnx for any info.

Walker is known for their GHS dedicated bagging system. Essentially they are a very well designed machine that cuts, and immediately vacumes the clippings into the hopper, leaving a very even, crisp cut with no debris. Although they do make side discharge decks I personally have never seen them used or heard anyone say anything of using them. Ive never even heard or anyone using their walkbehind model mowers.
