My supplier sells block by the square foot, how do I go about getting the square footage of a wall that will be 80' long, 2' high and 8" think...
    Thanks

my suggestion would be if you can't figure out your sq. ftge, you are not expierenced to do a retaining wall. no offense!!!! length x hieght = sq. ftge.

Just go with the LxW and you'll be alright.

A decent reply could also be "your confusing sqft with cube" Steve doesn't know any better

How many blocks per sqft. from your supplier?

    160 X # of blocks per sqft.

Then a percentage for breakage and such if you feel neccessary.

you say the experience is there, yet you don't know the very first step in laying out a wall....
