Has anyone used an aerator that uses high pressure water to create the hole? We just used one on our greens, and I did not get a chance to ask the contractor whether or not it would work on a regular lawn. This was a 3pt. hitch model.

    Thanks,

    Matt

Just like shooting a bullet into the ground. they will shoot holes in your irrigation just like it does dirt and sand.

So the shooting bullets into the ground theory is the same as a spike aerator? Meaning not as good as a core aerator? In central Pennsylvania irrigation is not much of an issue...I was thinking of using this on residential lawns, and not golf courses. The concept is what caught my eye, if there were any advantages to this system over a traditional core aerator.

    Thanks for any input,

    Matt
