anybody live in a city with set waterring days. Here we water on odd and even days based on street address. This works out to be a pain with scheduling. Lot of our mows go on 6 and 7 day rotaions to miss waterring.

We are on restrictions here, as for the watering, as long as the sprinklers go on early in the morning, (5am) it always dry enought to cut when we get there so we can keep it in schedual.

We've had restrictive watering days for many years.
Its one way to attempt to stop some of the waste by home owners
Some of our watering starts at 3:00 am and a 2nd cycle at 5:00 or 6:00
We work around the maint schedule o k
Except when the home owner 'thinks' they know more and reprograms the clock. Then have to give them some education on horticulture and what the plants / lawn needs. Good thing most dont know how to program their own clock

agreed. We've dealt with a lot of different ordinances in the west over the last 5 years regarding water restrictions during the drought cycle. Program clocks to run early AMs and schedule for afternoon mows on properties you know watered that night. Not ideal, but what ever is?

In a small city close to us they have to conserve water by not filling their pools and not washing their cars.

If it gets any dryer and we dont see rain for a while and the temps continue to rise, we will have odd/even watering days in the future. It usually happens once a year in July/August but we are getting close right now. It has been 87-93 here the past 7 days and no relief in sight for the upcoming 5 days or so. But a chance of storms each day, I just hope it rains in my neck of the woods soon.
