water under the deck ?

    hey everybody. hope you are as busy as i am . i have a question . what do i do about a deck that has about 6 " of standing water after a good rain. how could i help my customer fix

    is there some place for it to run off??? What I mean is tile it and run a pipe away from the deck.

    just bring in some topsoil and raise it up...grade it away from the house

    There may be a tile broke under the the ground.

    Yes pics would help alot..is there a downspout emptying under there?The soil under decks tends to get erroded in the areas where the water drains down through the cracks in the deck boards,this errosion action leaves like long pockets or mini canyons that hold water.In order to drain them you have to grade downhill.
