What do you guys tell your customers reguarding watering their new sodded lawn?

I tell my customers to water twice a day for 20minutes each for the first week, then once a day for 20minutes for the 2nd week, and then for 25minutes everyother day from the third week on.

Water every day for 2 weeks. about 45 min. then every other day after that about 30 min. This may sound like alot but is been 105 here and have not had a good rain in about 2 months.

8 AM, noon, and 4M each day for the first week. Soak the sod through until the soil underneath is good and moist. You don't want to leave it too wet at night and you don't want to turn the soil underneath into mud. Then once a day for the next week or two. Then every other day as someone else said.

Length of time depends on the precipitation rate of your system. Seven to 20 minutes is the usual range.
