Ways of keeping grass in truck from reeking

Sometimes during the busy mowing season I get a good size load of grass in the truck and cannot dump it for a few days. During that time it tends to reak really badly and I hate to be the guy that stinks up the neighborhood...or whereever I go...I was wondering if there is a way to contain the smell or minimize it when I can't make it to the dumping place. If you water it down maybe? Or put a tarp over it? Any tips are appreciated...

Watering it down and putting a tarp over it will only make it worse. I would suggest using garbage cans that seal good. They'll stink, but at least it will stay contained.

The simplest is to get it out of the truck but if that doesn't work. Is the truck enclosed?

Try some lime spread it over the top of the pile

No it's an open bed EZ dumper. If it's a small amount I just dump it at the end of the day in my yard but in buzy times that's pretty much impossible...

Lime just speeds up the decomposition. It will get worse - faster.

There's nothing you can do, just have to dump it as soon as possible.
