Here is the sit/rep 14 HP Kaw wont start. It has given no problem over the 9 years. Well maintained weekly. Gas is getting to the carb. It will backfire ever once and awhile. It sounds like it is wanting to turn over. Could it be from doing leaves or what. Maybe a bad switch they are all original. Thanks in advance for any help.:waving:

Could be a fouled spark plug, Water/trash in the carb, Coil/ igniter problem or a safety switch.

    Replace the plug.
Drop the float bowl and check.
Disconnect the harness "kill" wire from the igniter and try starting.

Dropped bowl allready Replace the plug and it failed out. I floaded it. I will try the kill wire idea.
