Air Filter Crush Test: Tanaka TBC-240PF vs. Redmax
What the hell?...
I never knew that my air filter was in such danger of being crushed! Thanks for the post I'll keep you scientific test in mind next time im looking to buy rugged air filtered piece equipment..
Lawn-Sharks, BladeScape, you guys crack me up! I was thinking the same thing.... ooooooooooooookay?!?!?
I'll keep that in mid the next time I'm worried about crushing an airfilter. To me, this was the ultimate air filter crush test. You can see it laying under the hood unscathed. Unfortunately, my back and neck didn't hold up so well.
They just don't make them like they used to,
but those air filters are darned tough I hear say.
What would you like to see put through a drop test or crush test (Relating to a blower, chain saw or trimmer).
I'm not sure that air filter strength has ever been an issue for anyone at all.
It's not an air filter crush test. It's an air filter cover crush test. Seems kinda pointless but I guess someone had to do it.
I love my new Tanaka equipment, however, the whole air filter needs to be redisigned. Its a very cheap 1" high foam sleeve, that looks very pourous.
I could go on all day about the rest of the positives though...
