Yesterday I was so bored I scrubbed the Kitchen floor and cleaned out the Refrigerator. This will be my 3rd day in a row of cabin fever. BTW this is after several days this month it was too cold to work. Sunny Florida has not been so sunny lately. It is the end of the month and I have 3 accounts left to treat. I am not True Green so I am not going treat them in the rain.

Other PITA things in my life is my PTO driven Warner Hydra-Cel 25 pump is in the shop. Pump People are charging me $ 1400.00 to totally rebuild it. The fact is because of the pump, I wasn't able to finish my route a week ago. Yes the Pump is worth spending $ 1400.00 on. It is 20 some years old and hasn't been apart. A Hydpo D 50 replacement pump would cost almost as much and need new diaphragms every year. Then there would be the cost of modifying the truck to installing it. My Isuzu is worth a lot more with an original Hydra-Cel Pump.

I used to detail cars way back, over twenty years ago. Had an old customer ask me last summer if I could do her car as it had some pretty nasty scratches on it. I said sure, but it might take me a while to get around to it. We finally got out schedules worked out and I went and got it on Tuesday. Finished it that night, but it has been stuck in my garage ever since. It started raining early Wednesday morning and has been raining ever since. This was a mow week too. I was going to work Wed-Sat.

It has been a mow week for me also. Good thing for cold temps and frost damage. None of the lawns needed cutting. I just edged them and made noise with the blower. That way customers know that I was around. Now I am good for another 2 weeks. By then the grass will need cutting. With no sunshine, cold temps, cold rain not much will grow. Good time for me to get my truck maint done.

I literally just came here to ***** about some yahoo LCO coming into my neighborhood and mowing just now. I heard the commercial mower start up on the block behind me and I was like WHAT? If the Lawns had not been stressed enough by the cold temps I am pretty sure that the last three days of consistent rain enough reason to now put mower on a lawn. We have sandy soils here but not three days of consistent rain and then put a mower on a lawn sandy! Maybe it was one of the newest brainchild scams out there that passed out flyers in the last month or two - LAWN CARE AT $25.00 a month!!! WTF PEOPLE!

I would throw up a scan of the flyer if I thought the mods would allow it. $25 a month, through a company that is associated with bidwilly? It appears similar to the one that has been going on for the past few years at $50 a month and the company that hands it out tries to label the name of their company so residents think it is part of their HOA.

With the National Homeowner's Association this past year, in my subdivision the charge was $36.00 a month. The service providers get $18.00 a month and change as often as I change my socks. They don't ever last. You wanna take a guess why?

The numb nuts are a bunch of bottom feeders with rockets under their tails thinking they can make it up in volume until they learn the hard way. Some learn pretty fast and some take a suprisely long time. :hammerhead:

Rained all day yesterday and still raining a little now. Everything is soaked again. Last week was a mow week that got washed out. The bad part about it is I had a ton of other stuff to do this winter, but I'm spending every spare dry day trying to catch up on mowing. Strangest winter I have ever seen here in Florida. Cold front, it rains. Warms up and it rains some more. And when it quits it's just humid. Then it starts raining again.
