The site I'm on has a cistern & we're pumping from it.
Is the "delay" between zones programmable depending on the
demand, or are you locked into one delay time throughout?

Was wondering this myself. One of our sites has 5 WMSL's, though we dont need the delay, was curious.

No, it is not dynamic like that.

I'm sure you can make some sort of indexing/timer deal like that, but you would have to have some sort of way to value/measure the input capabilities to the system for the SL to decide what amount of water it has to work with at a given time.

It was also have to change throughout the running of the system. IE... more water available at zone 1, but little to no water left at zone 36.

How would you calculate an accurate watering window if you never knew what was available and when it was available.

that's the problem with cisterns, and why they are not practical for irrigation usage. too much trouble, and source is dependent upon previous rainfall.

Change it out to a well. problem solved.

The "then" in your signature should be changed to "than."

This a unique system, it has a old artesian well that they could not abandon
completely & we channeled into to cisterns. It does take downspouts, but I
know the re-charge, Hank & I measured it with a flow sensor. So a adjustable
delay would have been cool. Damn, I should have hung a Rain Master with
12 programs & unlimited ISC starts. :hammerhead:
