Does anyone know of an inexpensive way to create a simple website without paying a high monthly fee?

I have a domain name already and am looking for something simple...

    Nice.

Do you have any suggestions on where to design the site?

Host with godaddy.com. Got to gophersoftware.com and look around and find you a free template. Download template. Go to the coffeecup html editor site and download the html editor for about $50. Customize the template, put it on your godaddy server. Bam! Your site is up. For a total cost of under $100. Of course the price will vary some depending on how long you sign up with godaddy for. But that is the basics.

I've been pleased with yahoo, it's twelve dollars a month and they have a lot of good building tools.
