I like it, loads fast, good clear info, very easy to navigate, easy to contact, no b.s, very explanatory, I'd hire you!

marketing is soo hard, we really need to put our businesses in our clients faces now, just newspaper and yellow pages isn't enough, websites need lots of traffic to usually generate sales, so to use this tool to it's best every potential client needs to know about your website....

the trick is...what is the best way?

The only thing I have never tried is flyers, traditional advertising simply doesn't work enough, I am at the same cross roads as you are....clients won't look for us anymore, we need acceptable, successful ways of getting the client's attention, looking in newspapers or expensive yellow pages ads nowadays is not the thing for todays client, too lazy to look for us...

sorry I can't help....I find marketing the hardest part of this biz, yet to find out the best system...expense stops some methods e.g tv, radio, and flyers etc are done by everyone and considered junk mail by many. dunno...

iv'e done the flyers i put them out myself a lot of hard work ! but beleive it or not there as good as yellow pages..but to time consuming , overhere if you get the flyers sent out by a specialist firm it gets very exspensive

marketing is one of my biggest problems ,i average 7-12 quotes a week . very rarely does the amount change so i can't exspand

ive tried papers ,yellow pages, flyers, signs on truck, direct mailing for commercial work dissapointed with them all..next thing i may try is a once a week little club [breakfast club ] aparently its all about net working ie not what you know but who you know.load of small business men go to a small cafe for breakfast and swap cards lol

I used to have a web site through Verisign. Very nice setup, let me update it all the time. I could just jump on the internet and update with whatever I wanted. Cost me $24.95 a month for the service. But after I did a lot of research with new customers and current customers, like nobody used it or looked at it at all. So I shut it down. Heck it saved me $300 per year by shutting it down.

    Hi Rollacosta,

I think your site looks nice. Do you track your sales to find out if your customers have seen your website or if that effected their decision to choose you?
