I have aquired a new church account that will require extensive weed control in the cemetary. My question is what kind of post-emergence spray would work best without staining the tombstones. Some of the headstones in the cemetary are the flat ones that seem to have a bronze plaque mounted into the marble. Any suggestions and comments would be welcome. I usually spray with Trimec.
Also if a pre-emergent would be more suitable, let me know.

I under being conserned about the bronze plaques. I had a 26 acre cemetary that only had this type. I used Riverdale Milenium Ultra. Bid the job right and with that material you will kill any broad leaf that is alive and active. I would belive that any sort of fertilizer may have an ill effect on the bronze itself. If you are going after crab grass Dimmension works very well also. Always had good luck with these. LOL

I to use millenium ultra, as for pre emerge I dont use it in cemetary, Drive works excellent then you only need to spot spray & can sometimes also tank mix with millenium to do both.
