This is my first chance to build a fence and lay sod. Just moved to this house a few months ago and the Centipede/Bahia lawn was crap, imagine that. Got a great deal on Zoysia, $120 for 2 pallets. It isn't perfect but at least the kids will have a nice grassy play area.

Now I need to figure out what to do with my useless back yard. Maybe some tiered beds.

$120.00 for two pallets of Zoysia is a outstanding price. Good find and good luck with your new lawn.

One thing you might want to do is soak the lawn and get a lawn roller on it. And where are you located because I thought it was a little to late to put zoysia down

Already soaked and rolled just did that today. I'm in North Florida and the guy I got the sod from is still laying it got a few next week. So I guess it's still a good time to lay it.
