    spray heads triangular spaced
    15' elevation change , side yard
    direction North/South...persistently windy
    50' X 14' plot
    1" SRV Hunter valves {no FC}
    8 heads all H's
    the gpm from the fixed nozzles are around 1.3 , and pr is 2

    what is it with all the misting? {even with 0 wind conditions}
    , with 5mph winds, just forget pr rates even hitting an nth of spec'd ratio

    Really need to know static pressure at the backflow preventer, but more importantly, pressure at the head itself. Optimal pressure at the spray head is approximately 30 psi. Above that and you start getting misting.

    Can the SRY bonnet be replaced with one from a PGV-with-flow-control?

    The SRV comes in both flow control and no flow control versions.

    Well, there you go. Don't think I ever saw a flow-control SRV - always thought it was kind of shoved to the side when the PGV arrived.
