Anyone have a Wells Cargo with a nose cone on it? I am very interested in buying an enclosed trailer and am told that wells Cargo has exclusive on the "Nose Cone".

I have told by a couple of people that a "box" trailer is like a brick when compared to one with a nose cone.

I had a 24' Wells with a nosecone. I never pulled one without but I can imagine it would be a pain. The nosecone acts as a stabilizer as well as routing air up and over the trailer. If I ever get another enclosed it will have to have one.

I run a 16' express trailer pulled for 3 years with my dodge 318 with no real problems now pull with a PSD, it would really depend on how much open road pulling you, around town it should make no difference. If you notice most travel trailers & semi's are still box shaped.
