O.k. Don't bash me for this please just give some honest advice :) Anybody ever plant ornamental grasses (Maiden Grass, Karl Foester, etc.) on the western side of a structure? That is have you put something like this that loves the sun in a spot where it won't receive the full sun exposure until late in the day? There is no shade such as trees or anything in the way of shade, just the structure itself, could this work or should I gently/firmly persuade not to?

    Thanks

If it gets afternnon sun, the sun will be strong in summer, I'd say go ahead.

    bigviclbi,

Thanks for the reply, I wa leaning that way but when putting plants in for someone else, especially for hire I don't want to upset the applecart so to speak. Thanks again.
