Cut it high let it fly. I had maybe a half truck load of grass all week.

Back to the grind tomorrow. 149.8 hours I've put on my new zero turn this season. Blades sharpened, oil changed, zerks greased, air cleaner cleaned. I'm ready for another week.

I figured I'd ask here since the answer may vary by region...

    Anyone familiar with sycamore trees?

Does the bark shed all season, or just for a specific period of time?

Customer moved and new place has them. What a mess the first cut was - bark ccovering the huge drive and lawn.

If I need to do a cleanup EVERY week before I mow, I need to factor that into the new rate.

    Some observations:
    1. Tie-downs did not do their job -- if there were any.
    2. One hand mower looks to be lodged under the JD ZTR.
    3. One 2 cycle LawnBoy -- Duraforce style.
    4. What was pulling the trailer -- pickup or dump truck, or other?

Better to pack one's lunch, than to stop at the DQ.

Did anybody gather and package the day for use at a later time?

This is the first thing I noticed also. I was looking at as many pics as I could find, looking for tiedowns, I think I saw one, but it seems to be tied up on the passenger side rail. Either way, the equipment wasnt propetly secured. No matter how much people say their 2x4 screwed to the floor works, it does nothing when stuff like this happens.

The truck seemed to be a pre 2001 chevy one ton dually.

To answer the original question, you will typically have a lot of garbage from Sycamore trees, however it should be moderate throughout the year, with more over the winter
