    Hello,

    Just a quick note....

Started raining here again now......dams are starting to go again and roads are being shut down. I wish wet belts was the only problem I had. My concern now is how to put pontoons on my truck so that I can at least get to my job.......LOL.

No time for anything but mowing mowing and more mowing.
I just picked up a two field soccer complex that will be a
total of 5 fields next year.

That week I went to Bermuda set me back a bit also.
I have work scheduled for every day of the week.

Texas, may get its wish for rain. A tropical storm has formed in the gulf. May soon turn into a hurricane. Hurricane warning have already been posted for 250 miles of the gulf coast. Hope it veers right toward SC in the form of a tropical storm.

Well, our wet summer continues. I had a grade adn seed joba that I had hoped to do over the weekend. Heavy rain Friday night so I put off going on it until yesterday afternoon. Heavy soil, it was till too wet to rake out. Finally got on it this afternoon, got it pretty well York raked and partly hand raked by quitting time. Plan was to go back tomorrow. Plan got changed again, it has been raining steadily for about three hours now. So, no point going there tomorrow unless it comes off dry and windy to suck some of the water out of the soil. Some places today were pumping after a couple passes over them with the tractor, will be worse tomorrow unless things change radically. I just hope this wet stays with us until December,, THINK SNOW!!!

andrews, If we could figure out how to send some down your way, we would. The funny thing is, all of us Nor'Easters that are complaining about all of this rain, were probably complaining last year about our drought. We just can't win when it comes to Mother Nature. The one thing that I heard & hope is true; the cool wet summers give way to cold snowy winters. SteveAir, glad to hear your only problem with the floods is trying to figure out the detours. I knew you were close to there and I hoped you were one of the lucky ones that didn't lose their house.

    Dittos on the belt dressing.
However, after alot of use they will glaze & become clogged from too much.
Check how much wear is on them; if the sides are worn down, it may be time to replace.
