My business has been running smoothly for two weeks now with no major interruption, until now. It rained all day. I informed my customers that I would come out when the rained ended, but unfortunately it rained until 4pm. Should I push the scheduled dates back a day or try to fit my customers (who I had to cancel with) in on a day when I have the time?
Also I see many LCO's out on days when its raining. Is that good business? Bad for the grass? Equipment?
    Thanks
    Eric

Not for us,there are a few accounts we cut when it's wet but hardly ever.

There was another thread about this the concensus was that the show must go on. Ofcourse I would think that you need very good machines with sharp blades..

With residentials, i would not want my grass cut after a rain.

If they cut it anyway and it looked good (assuming it looked good, at least that was the impression I had for that other thread) you wouldn't probably mind.

There are parts of the country where it almost doesn't STOP raining. Even where I live last year it was crazy with rain.
