I'm thinking ahead when my business really kicks into gear and will need a 36" mower to go along with my exmark lazer. I'm either thinking another phazer, turf tracer hp, viking, or metro. I want to find one of those used but in good condition. It won't be used all the time so I don't need it brand new. Which should I go with? It will be used for smaller residentials and for gates that the lazer won't fit through and for soft easy to mess up turf. Also would the 15 hp they put on all the 36" w/bs be enough power to mulch? I have trouble mulching with the 19 on my 46" deck. Any input or advice is appreciated. Thanks

15hp is plenty of power on a wb.

i have been thinking about the same thing for two weeks now. I think im going with a 36" stander but a Quick 36 was my second choice and i hear there great complements to bigger mows such as your lazer

weve got 32 " and 48 " exmark metros with 15 horse kaws
and we really like them . weve ran the 48 3 years now ,
and the 32 just this season (and we have older versions of both) .
one thing ide say is that on
the 48 we got the upright handle bars as opposed to the
regular handles that point straight back and the uprights
make it harder to manuever machine around or tilt it up
so ide never get them on another machine . but ide guess
some like them , i just dont .

and just a thought is that we run into alot of jobs
that have gates only the 32 will fit through and if our smallest
was a 36 we'd have to turn alot of jobs down .

If your just looking into gear drive, I'd grab a 32". I have run into a good number of yards where if I was still running my 36"er, I wouldn't get through the gate. 15hp should be fine. I have a 15hp kohler on my 32"viking hydro. It had the full mulch kit on it in the spring, and it did fine!

The stander was TOO heavy and hard to change heights. I'm really looking at just a plain 32" w/b or another phazer. Like I said the phazer was an awsome mower and I was blind to have sold it.

Get a 32" gear drive walkbehind. Pretty much an indestructable machine. I love mine and dont know what I would do without it.
