What about the left over bags of seed?

    If it's going to take you 1.5 50# bags to aerate and overseed a lawn, do you just figure the price of 2 bags in your estimate even if you wont use all of the second bag? Or do you just use them both? I am having some leftover material and I didn't know if it was wise to add the materials even if you wont use them.

    If you can't buy a 25# bag then just buy the 50# and store the other half for overseeding thin areas later, maybe even as a dormant seeding when your current activities are less than desired...

    Yeah, I can almost buy a second 50# bag for the price of a 20-30# bag. Also, I'm having a hard time matching the blends. Using a Triplex blend that is only sold in 50#.

    Would you still charge for the second half of the 50# bag or absorb that cost?
