What an artificial lawn looks like

    Ok again this is NOT my work. I am posting these pics so you can see what a fake lawn looks like.
    It feels crunchy under foot. There is no smell of grass.
    You can't see it in these pics but it kind of sparkles in the sunlight. It looks ok from a distance but close up it just looks like a plastic lawn.
    I suppose it is applicable in certain customer Low-maintenance or No-maintenance situations. This is laid on a bed of sand. The company who sold it to them installed it as well. I still have to ask them what it cost them.

    and.................................Gee what is that? A fake creekbed too?

    Really the overall look is not too bad. Well besides that thing runnuing through the middle there.

    I wish all my lawns looked like that fake or not.

    That looks pretty nice in the pics. But there was just a thread about this, that had ridiculous prices of the installs. I'll have to find it.

    I don't know the cost for a small lawn.

    A few school districts in our area have had their football fields done. Roughly 3/4 to $1Million per field.
