sod costs me about $1.95 a yard, I charge it out depending on site conditions, if it is level fill soil, $5 a yard (I have to bring in some topsoil and level and roll it out prior to sod install), nice level topsoil already there $4 a yard, maybe. for bed install, hours ($30/hour for me + $20/hour per extra hand) plus materials (retail cost, make sure you pay wholesale otherwise up the retail by 15%) I sub my irrigation with no markup but they bill direct. If I was to sub it and bill it through then I would take the total and add 10% as a hidden admin fee.
