1200 a day in sales with a 10-20% profit margin.

Are you effing kidding me? This is THE MOST ridiculous thing I've ever heard. How do you think large companies grow? Initially financing might not be the best option(although in most businesses starting out that require more equipment/brick & mortar than lawn care does, it's the only way to get started) but you have fun building any significant sized business "paying cash" for everything. Ridiculous.

Thank you! Some people are so ignorant when it comes to financially managing their business it's insane. :hammerhead:
When you pay cash, you burn up most of your cash (generally) and your operating cash is pretty much gone.

Yeah i have 2 companies. Landscaping did a 1 mil last year, and the other did 1.7 mil, and everything is paid for including the commercial building.

Companies that dont make money finance everything.

We bid on a large job for a large diaper manufacture earlier this year and they paid cash for a 200 million dollar facility. So not everybody finances.

If the economy ever takes a dump and it could at any second with the crisis in europe or if obama get re-elected, i will be sitting pretty!

Do you think the diaper manufacturing company never financed anything at any point of being in business?

Basically every company on the stock market has financed something at some point.

    Probably did.

I just saved $300 a few minutes ago by paying 6k cash for a truck body rather than credit card. Cash is king right now.

And when you pay cash, i think it forces you to make smart decisions. And it forces me to negotiate on everything, because i know how hard i have to work to make money.

Who buys a truck body with a credit card? That shows your ignorance right there.

If your claims are accurate to the numbers your businesses do then you are a rarity. Far and away more common for businesses to grow through financing larger purchases.
