I have had several different wheelbarrows none seem to hold up good just curious what you guys use. Steel? plastic? two or one wheel? most of the time they are used for mulch or dirt. what brand do you guys like?

Last year I bought one of those True Tempers or whatever they're called from Home Depot. Plastic tub with aftermarket single solid rubber tire. I've only used it a couple times, but seems to work well enough for moving pea gravel and dirt.

I have 2 of the 2wheel jacksons. They don't seem to hold up well unless you only use them for mulch. One of them cracked and cracked to the point I can't use it now. They're decent for the price I guess. I'm definitely going to upgrade next year. I can't remember the brand but they look to be built much better and are around $200

I have 2 choices. Little jobs I use the 5 X 7 little blue tarp, from Harbor Freight. Bigger jobs get the ASV RC-30!
  6. I've used the single wheel commercial Jackson's over the years for concrete demo/pour backs, very sturdy, be sure to invest in the 'no blow' tire.

Here is one I just bought and like it better as there are no crossbars to knock your shins/knees. Same size as Jackson (6cu ft) just wee bit wider. And the front 'roll bar' is higher off the ground so you wheel it without worry of hitting/catching something causing 'slip, trip, tipover' issues. Front roll bar allows dumping load is easier.

  7. Wow I saw the price from the web page and this wheel barrow has jumped in price. I paid like 150.00. from Normac. The Commercial Jackson is great so get it if its cheaper. I just prefer 'The Excavator'.
