what c.c. to run a blade effectively

    just wondering what c.c. weed eater to run a blade? got a few houses with thick brush and was looking into a blade attachment. thanks for the input. by the way i have a echo.. believe its 25 c.c.

    I would think that 25cc is plenty. Alot depends on the type of blade and the actual diameter of the brush being cut. A blade on a weed eater is a serious piece of equipment! It can and will hurt ya! Please consult your owners manual on the proper installation and use. The correct PPE is a must!

    That should be plenty of power for your application . I run a 8in 80tooth blade on my srm 2100.

    run a blade on my old homelite 20.5 cc and works fine. I don't chop trees or any thing but for thick weeds and brush works fine. A must for Black berries.
