what do i use to put down that won't effect new seed germination

    what do i use to put down that won't effect new seed germination.. i'm putting in a new yard and don't want weeds to end up being a problem...

    Grass seed. Not to sound like a smart alec, here, but that's all you'll be doing if you're repairing or renovating. Don't forget the starter fert!;)

    Well I am not real sure on that one what I do is use a fertiloan sprayer and just spot spray when it comes to that. I would recomend putting on a new lawn starter for sure though.
