    Just getting a few landscape/lawn care jobs and wondered what you guys thought of my starter truck ...

    Me and my uncle built the side rails for tarping and hold mulch/dirt/debris, that kind thing. Got ramps coming for the riding mower and possibly a small trailer for some of the other accessories if they won't fit in the bed.

    The new ones are definitely an upgrade and also a great place to put some signs.

    Off the subject here- I used to live in Pelham Al. just south of Birmingham. Nice place down there.

    Yeah, I'm thinking of getting a custom paint job done on the wood with our name/ an outline of what we do. My mom a great artist so no expense :dancing: Also I hear ya parts of AL aren't bad, Huntsville and Madison are blowing up thats why I'm getting into this now. Hoping to cash in with my experience and business sense :payup:

    So the one million dollar question is...........

    Why is the block holding it in place????
    Do you need brakes or to fix the parking brake. Do it. To many stories out there of the landscape truck going through a house because brakes gave way due to weight.

    It's a stick and yes the parking break needs to be adjusted/fixed. Shouldn't be a problem my uncle already volunteered to fix it. Thanks for the replies.

    Ooops double post but yeah thanks for the replies and the bed space is ...

    Length = 6.5 Ft
    Width = 5.67 Ft
    Height = 2 Ft
    ____________

    =62 square FT, bed space

    =25.5 cubic yards

    if that makes sense ;\

    Just a 4 banger but I'm not moving much weight so I think I'll be ok
