this is a strange machine. From dixie chopper. Does anyone have 1 and how is it.
i wouldn't be cought dead running something like that.
They must not have researched too much on it.. Its says the only w/b with OCDC and ability to raise and lower deck from the operators position? WRONG!!! My dad had a Kees 52 hydro w/b and you can adjust the deck height using a handle just like the Z's.
That thing is overkill!! What were they thinking?!!
Not only is it overkill, its the ugliest mower ever!!!
That my friend was a proto type of the first Mars rover.
While it may be ugly it is also probably the best walk behind ever made. They have gobs of power, built in sulky, removable quick change fuel tanks, OCDC, a "boat style" lanyard for the safeties, extremely easy steering, 8 MPH ground speed and tons of other features. Unfortunately it never sold and when the current stock is gone it will be discontinued.
any idea how much it cost?
The thing weighed a ton. It was basically like trying to manhandle a small ztr.
I demoed the run behind last fall. It goes for about 6k. It has a 27hp generac, 50 inch deck. It was a nice fast machine to walk or ride. A sulky platform folds out. But i think its just to big and bulky, and heavy.
