Hello - I currently have 2 aerators and was wondering the other day while aerating what other people used (looking for something easier)

And Why do you use what you use?????????????

    Thanks

Bluebird towable, Bluebird walk behind, and a Pluggr (cam driven)

I have a Ryan walk behind that I really like. It's a bit more complicated than a tow behind. But I am able to get closer. Most people say use a walk behind to "cut it in" with and then use a tow behind. I've found that with most small yards, I don't even break the tow behind out. Just my $.02

Pluggr here too, works better I think. Haven't used it since last Fall. Doing less residentials, going mostly commercial. still use it for some high end residential fescue jobs.

I have Bluebird 530's (yuck!). If you're looking for something easier to use (less operator fatigue = efficiency = more money) in a wb aerator, I would check out Plugr or a split-drum type aerator such as Claussen.

Sounds just like me. Residentials, what a joke. Whine and more whine. Like a baby piglet!!

Overall, lawnmowing is just not as attractive as other services we offer. Not enough money, but my hats off to the lcos who do a lot of residential.

Snapper aerator on a cam...it works forever just like the plugr.

    :)
