What do you think is more well handled while you trimming your own lawn or someone elses lawn, a walk behind edger or a gas trimmer? :blob3: :waving: :waving: :waving: :waving: :waving: :blob3:

Im not sure what you mean, but I use a wb edger to make the first edge of the season. Once the edge is established I use a stick edger.

Last year I used a WB. Good, but not speedy. Now I use a Red Max stick edger and save about 10 minutes per job. Well worth the investment.

In the mid-Eighties, I mowed lawns for a while in Clearwater, Fla. The curbs there were these gently sloped things and you could easily use a walk-behind edger. Had one of those Tanaka two-cycle edgers. It was great.

Here, the curbs rise straight up about three to four inches and a walk-behind edger is the most useless thing in the world. I use a stick edger. I've tried using a string trimmer to edge just for jollies. Cannot imagine why anyone would do it for more than ten seconds.
