what do you think of barreto trenchers?

    we carry the barreto line and have had some good luck with them just wondering if anyone has tried them if you have never seen them you can look at www.fourbros.com

    Used the 5 wheel model, loved it. Drove straight as an arrow with the rear axle down. Nice machine, used 3 or 4 times.

    I've used the 5 wheel model and the 3 wheel model (1324)

    Personally, I hate them. They are weak in our rocky soil, hard to steer (requires a lot of energy to make them turn a gradual corner) and the controls are laid out poorly.

    The concept that turning requires you to lean or push hard on one side or another is ridiculous.

    Ive had to use one off the rental yard while ours was in the shop. Lets just says its a few steps ahead any belt driven trencher.

    I wont buy another walkbehind unit because im spoiled with my dingo on tracks.
