What do you think of this Pro-V deal and who uses one?

A local dealer told me he would sell me a Scag Pro-v walk-behind w/sulky for 5180! It's a demo w/ 12 hours. Is that as great of a deal as I think it is? Also who likes them or dislikes them? Do accelerator baggers work with these? If not how much is the adapter? Thanks very much!

No one out there has an opinion or advise on this?

He's not giving the machine away but it's still a good deal. I tried out a Pro-V and loved it-very smooth and excellent quality. I will eventually get another WB and the Scag will be one of my top choices. If the sulky is the Scag brand, that's an even better deal.

    Have the 48.

Great cut, good overall machine. Wished we had the 52.

Easy to use in every aspect. And the handlebars don't wear your hands out.
One-handed manuvering around bushes, tree lines, fences.
Can even back up with one hand!

There are a couple of detractors around this site, but they don't own one, so take that into consideration.

    That's a good price.

We do have a catcher for this mower. All the velocity decks (the "V" in the name) can use our GCSCV or GCSCVXL.
