    hey i was wondering what does everyone think is the best type of mower for a youger person to get at a very low price.

    A used 21 inch walk behind or if possible a 36 inch. Look in the trader paper or something like that.

    Check your local classified ads or even swing by your local dealers and see if they have used equipment. They usually have a list of lawn care owners they call but you might get your foot in the door first.

    For someone just starting out with not a lot of cash, a used walk behind is the ticket.

    Also, if you have good credit and a decent income, you can try to take advantage of financing specials though various dealers. Some have no interest financing for 1-3 years depending on the total cost of the ticket and the company doing the financing.
