Quicksilver (carfentrazone) doesn't control anything "better". It just causes a more rapid response.

I understand what you are saying...but Three Way alone doesn't control Wild Violet, but when used in combination it with QS it does. Just as Quick Silver and Octane don't control as much on their own.

As stated previously, it all comes down to chemistry (modes of action).

So I think when Three Way and QS are used together... it does give the "mix" a few more improvements other then just the speeding up the kill!

Three-way doesn't kill Moss, Quicksilver does and it does an awesome job on it. So that's the answer.

    Heck yeah!

    Good point PSU!

Forgot to mention....that is another great upsell for adding QS!

If you can tell people why they are paying a little more...you will more then get your money back by adding QS to the tank!

Yeah I found it works nice on pavers and brick patios in shaded areas also to clear up the moss and the customers usually have tryed everything and you come in and kill it, another good use for it is on slate roofs.

    Funny you say that!

I just had a customer ask me this week about the moss between her pavers.

I told her I would have to get back to here because I was concerned about spraying the pavers (label issue and staining?).

Have not checked the label yet....is it ok to spray "hard surfaces" with QS?

I told her just to powerwash them if not.

Quicksilver does a fine job of burning through the leaf cuticle of Violets. But how many grow right back the following year? Clopyralid & Triclopyr (Confront) did the best job on violets. Slow...but permanent. Dicamba does a good job too as long as there aren't any trees near by.

If I said not be telling the truth! No product is perfect, but I can promise you that if you give me a lawn full of Wild Violets....I will wipe them out in two apps!

This will be my third season using Quick Silver and I swear by it! You are not technically "burning the plant off" you eliminate the chloraphy in the leaf and "starve the plant". It is slow....but seen it work too many times.

I have been challenged by some about Wild Violet control, but I guess you just have to see it for yourself!

    As they say...."Seeing is believing"!
