This creek-stone wall runs about 1000' around this property. I currently use a Kubota B2410 with a 60" Mid-Mount-Mower. Then a Lawn Boy 21" self propelled, and then a string trimmer. Some parts of the wall are at the top of a pretty good slope.

Is trimmer a quality straight shaft commercial type, may improve time some depending on operator.
When trimming, if you'll cut all the way into the dirt, you'll prohibit new growth to an extent.
Could use Round-up, if there are no animal/people/water contamination concerns.

I have an EDGIT on my trimmer and along some walls I will edge with it then trim. fy edging it gets the grass right up against the wall and actually cuts a slight groove just like edging along a walk.
