What height should i cut before spraying Lesco bentgrass selective for henbit, creeping charlie and plantain?
I'll be spraying 1.5 ounces in 1 gallon per thousand, on cool season rye and fescue.

    3" on cool season turf

ideally, you might want to spray a few days AFTER mowing, the more leaf surface you have the better the results. As long as you dont mow for at least 24 hours FOLLOWING the spraying, giving the plant a chance to translocate the herbicide before mowing off the leaf surface.

any 2,4-D product should do a good job on henbit.

If you havnt had success in the past...could have been weather conditions? or perhaps the rate was not correct? and possibly a follow up 10-14 days after...there is a bit of a waxy film on the leaf of henbit that might cause less than desirable results with one application.
