I cut at 3 inchs, just wondering what others are cuttin at?
Anywhere from 2 3/4" to 4".
You have to vary your height depending on grass type. Very shady thin grass I cut very short.. 2 3/4... this helps to not leave "tracks" where the grass is just matted over under the tire tracks. Sod you have to cut higher. Highest i cut is 4" unless its brand new sod.. then im riding at 5-6"s
Thats about what we have to cut also. It depends from lawn to lawn
Varies with the time of the year and type of grass
Here on our cool season KB-we set the decks at 2 3/4 during vigorous spring growth, then up it to 3 1/2 as the weather heats up .
1.75" for tif 419 now
Mostly 3". One account is 2.5" and the softball fields I cut are at 2.25".
