What is happening with my lawn

    Always go across slopes when possible. You aren't going to be walking the same speed going up the hill as down, resulting in misapplication.....

    Good advice here ... also, what I do (and it takes more time) ... I set the spreader at half the rate suggested, apply one direction, then turn and apply crossway's. This way you get a more even spread with no chance of stripes.

    Look at the bright side....atleast you got HALF of it fertilized!:laugh:
    But on a serious note; no harm done...This is a classic case of a common error. Better too little, than too much.
