I am looking to do some overseeding to thicken up a couple thin lawns and was wondering what is involved in this? Also wondering what is the best method and type of grass seed to use? Never done overseeding and am looking for some advice!

If bare spots, rough up a little with rake. You should aerate for better results then overseed with seed of your regon (your Wis is cool season, Bluegrass/tall fescue mix).
