    I can't remember the products that don't kill grass, but stunt the growth. Used along fence lines so as to limit string trimming. Thank you.

    Primo or primo max are growth regulators.
    Sounds like what you are looking for.
    Try Lesco they sell it.
    It AIN'T cheap.

    Glyfosate or Round uo is a PGR at a low rate

    Roundup can be used at a diluted rate?

    Yes RoundUp was originally developed as a growth regular, later found to work as both a select and non-select herbicide.

    0.5 oz per gallon @ one gallon per thousand sq ft is the growth regulator rate. I actually chemically mow some of my own property by spraying RoundUp at just a little higher rate of 1 oz per thousand. This is harder to cut area around my nursery and not for aesthetic appearance.
